Kerman Ellis Amos, age 59, of Erie, PA, passed away on May 1st, 2024. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 28th, 1964. He was the son of the late Richard Amos and Cassandra Knight Amos.

Kerman loved to laugh and tell jokes, his favorite saying "Safer." He loved to do handiwork for whoever needed him. He also enjoyed music and loved spending time with family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Marcus & Kenneth and one sister, Helen.

He is survived by his daughter, Shontae May, and a son, Corday May, his grandson, Jacivon William, a host of cousins, nephews, and nieces, and a special friend, Lakeitha Mitchell.

Arrangements will be held by Pitts Funeral Home. Burial service will be private.
