Leonard Avery Ducksworth, 55, of Warrensville Heights, OH, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Cleveland on May 11, 1968, and the youngest of the union of Marjorie and the late Harry Lee Ducksworth.

He was a graduate of the Cleveland School of Science where he met his former spouse and later started his family. He loved, and was proud of, all of his children whom he would boast about often.

Lenny, as he was known by most, was employed by DuPont for nearly 30 years. To know Lenny is to know he had a passion for both family and music. He started DJ-ing as a teen and continued to share his talents at events throughout the country, including hosting an internet radio show with his crew, Regime Squard DJs, and, most notably, family cookouts.

Lastly, when he wasn't DJ-ing or working, you could find him supporting his favorite sports team, The Cleveland Browns.

Lenny was preceded in death by his father, Harry Lee Ducksworth and maternal grandmother, Ella Ritter.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother Marjorie Ducksworth of Warrensville Heights; daughters Amber Brown (Bryce) of Mayfield Heights, Maya Ducksworth of Richmond Heights; son Aaron Ducksworth; brothers Harold Ducksworth of Warrensville Heights and Bruce Beason of Erie; sisters Deborah Eddy (Edwinta) of Hillsborough, NJ, Marie Ducksworth of Bedford, OH, Yvette Ducksworth and Rachelle Ducksworth of Winston-Salem, NC and three grandchildren. He also leaves an aunt, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
