Linda Jewell Moorer, age 67, of Erie, PA, passed away October 9, 2023 at Millcreek Community Hospital. She was born in Erie, August 16th, 1955, a daughter of Luther  and Lummie Gore.

Jewell resided in Erie with her family for over 50 years before moving to San Diego, and back to Erie in more recent years. She was a graduate of East High School and attended Edinbouro University. Later, she worked at several local agencies holding various work positions. Jewell was a loving sister, aunt, and grandmother who was loved by many in the family and community, where she enjoyed fishing, reading, playing cards, watching football and old country westerns, and spending time with her grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her father, Luther "Coonie" Gore, mother Lummie Gore, son Tory Dupree Gore, and her brothers John Luther and James "Shug" Gore.

Jewell is survived by her daughter Talia Gore-Prince (Ralston), of San Diego, CA, her grandchildren Keenan Dupree Gore, Mekayla Jewell Gore, Alicia Michele Gore, Quentin "Bisquit" Pacley, Toriyah Divine Rose Gore, Toray'la Mary Denise Gore, and various great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters Mary Alice Johnson, Denise Michele Gore, Brenda Lee Gore all of Erie, and brothers Charles Gore (Jaqualine Armstrong), of Conyers, GA, and
Vincent Gore of Erie. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and her best friend of over 50 years, Mary Lentz.
