Minister Lois E. Duffy, better known as (Dimples) was born June 7, 1936, in Timmonsville, South Carolina. She was the eleventh of 14 children. She was born to the Late Missionary Mother Mozella and George Daniels. She moved to Pittsburgh in her early teens.

In 1957, she married the late Bernard Thomas, and from that union, one child was born: Diane Thomas.

In her latter years, her other two children were born: the late Henrietta White (which proceeded her in death) and Hubert Thomas.

Minister Lois was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System. After receiving her high school diploma, she graduated from nursing school and earned her degree as a certified nurse assistant.

She worked and retired from several nursing homes. One she retired, she became a caregiver for the Muenzer family, working for thirty-two years. Even after she retired from working with the family she remained a huge part of their family.

Minister Lois was born into the Church of God in Christ under the leadership of the late Bishop Vaughn. As part of her spiritual journey, she joined Christ Temple Apostolic Church under the leadership of the late District Elder Leroy Robinson, where she served for over forty years as a licensed minister, Sunday School teacher, devotion leader, and on the hospitality committee, to name a few. After
the passing of District Elder Leroy Robinson, she joined Bethesda Temple under the leadership of Pastor Randall, where she served for a short period. In her later years, she joined Greater Miracle Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Laneer Fisher, where she currently served on the mother's board until her transition.

Minister Lois loved to preach, sing, teach, and Praise God. She knew the word inside and out and could recite the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

She loved spending time with her sister Thelma and nieces Yvette, Rochelle who were dedicated and faithful in her caregiving. They made sure her latter were her best years. She enjoyed socializing with her friends in the Legancy building where she resided for many years.

On Saturday, April 20, 2024, Min Lois traded her life for eternal life with Jesus.
She leaves her memory and her legacy two daughters and one son, Diane Thomas and Henrietta White (who preceded her in death), one son Herbert Thomas.

Her grandchildren Corey Whitley, Darnell Anderson Jr., Melinda (Damien) Robinson, Tiffany (Michael) Purvis, Dionne, Dalvonna, and David Parham and 16 great-grandchildren.

She also leaves three sister, Dorothy Leath, Anna Holland, and Thelma Grace. Eleven siblings proceeded her in death. Five God Children Rochelle, Kevin, Marlene, Crystal and Floyd Jr. A host of nieces and nephews and friends.

Minister Lois E. Duffy was our Matriarch. We Love and Miss you now and always.
