Loretta Carter Jefferson, of Aliquippa, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2019.
She was born July 14, 1948, to the late Blanche and Grover Carter Sr. Loretta was a graduate of Aliquippa High School. She was actively involved in many organizations and charities; often holding high positions, they include, The Elks; Women's Ministry of AUBA & S.I.T.G. and St. Jude's Hospital was one of her notable corporate charities. She started employment at Jackson's Shoe Store with her final employment at Passavant Memorial Homes. She is preceded in death by her parents, Grover Carter Sr. and Blanche (Howard) Carter; grandparents; great-grandparents; sister, Myra Burden; brother, Grover Carter Jr.; husband, Alvin Frenchie Jefferson and a number of other family members.
Left to carry on her legacy are her daughters, Larvita Early and Allison (Terrell) McCaa; son, Derrell Carter; grandsons, D.A. Obahor, Drevon and Derrell Carter and Terrell and Tory McCaa; granddaughters, Jireh and Jania Early and Chloe Carter; step-daughters, Jacqueline (Bruce) Dalton and Roxanne Forrester; brother, James Carter Sr.; sisters, Gloria Stratton, Viola Carter and Sheila Carter; devoted friend, Joyce Lee and a host of loving relatives and friends.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church, Beaver Falls.
