Loretta Marie Jones, 84 of Philadelphia, Pa. passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024. She was born on July 5, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pa. to the late Marvin and Ethel Jones.

Loretta was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System, attending Joseph E. Hill School, Roosevelt Junior High School and Germantown High School.

She worked at John F. Kennedy Hospital for many years before resigning to tend to her ill mother. Loretta enjoyed watching old westerns, football, wrestling, going to the casino and spending time with her family.

Loretta sometimes known as Rett was known for her unique personality and smile. There wasn't a place she would go without hearing, "Hey Rett, how you doing? And she would always respond by saying, "Hey baby, how you doing?" She had a zest for life and touched the lives of many people.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one Son Kenneth (Tammie)Jones, one daughter Dana (Wesley) Jones-Thomas, sevengrandchildren, Shadai, Cory, Tiana, Donald Jr., Kyle, Donyeal and Shaquille, nine bonus grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, two daughters in love, Angela Reed and Yolanda Finger as well as a host of family and friends.
