Mamie Louise Farr, known to many as "Bae" or "Baby Sis" was called home on Monday January 9, 2023, just one week after celebrating her 93 ^rd birthday. She was born on January 2, 1930, in Union SC, to the late Will and Mamie Rutherford.

Mamie was born and raised in Union SC, where at the age of 16 she met her husband, Burton and relocated to Aliquippa PA in the 1950's. While her husband worked for the steel mill, Mamie was a stay-at-home mother. In the 1970's she was a nanny for a local family before moving on to become a homemaker for many years until she suffered a stroke in 2008.

She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Club at The Quippian Club of Aliquippa. Mamie enjoyed getting dressed up and going out with her husband by her side and enjoying life. She also enjoyed watching her "Cowboy and Indian" shows, Soap Operas and drinking her coffee. She was also known for "telling it like it is" and held nothing back.

In addition, to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Burton Farr Sr. and children, Beverly and Burton Farr Jr. She was also preceded in death by her sister and brother, David Rutherford and Julia Mae Royer, granddaughter Roxanne Farr and nieces Evelyn and Dionne Johnson.

Left to forever cherish her memories are her children; Dorothy (Dot) and Romero (MoMo) Farr, both of Aliquippa, PA. Five grandchildren; Laura Farr, Deanna Farr, Vidal Farr, Ramona Farr and Charlene McFrazier, all of Aliquippa, PA. Two sisters; Betty Supples of Ambridge, PA and Edith Rutherford of New York. Devoted nieces and nephews; Carolyn, Debbie, Jay, Chris, Gayle, Annette Rutherford, all of Union, SC and Cleveland Rutherford of Virginia. Two nieces; Sandra and Linda Johnson of Ambridge, PA. Along with a host of other loving nieces and nephews. She also has to cherish her memories a special nephew, David Foster of Virginia, along with 27 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild. Longtime friends; Robert & Nancy Masters of Brighton Township, Cynthia Newsome of Aliquippa, PA, Wilker Street family and other loving friends and family members.

The family would also like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Life Beaver and Liberty Dialysis Hopewell for the care and assistance provided to Mamie for the last 14 years of her life.
