MARGARET ANN DAWSON

Margaret Ann Dawson, 91, caring wife, mother, grandmother, mentor and friend was called home by her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 25, 2021.

Margaret was born on May 2, 1930 to the late Abraham and Mabel Williams.  After meeting and marrying her beloved husband Edward L. Dawson, they raised four children, Reverend Phillip, Gloria, Thelma and Cheryl.  For many years, Margaret shared her heart with others while working as an au pair and surrogate grandmother with the Fisher family of Roslyn, New York.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dawson, three children Reverend Phillip Dawson, Gloria Vaughn, and Thelma Dawson; Mother-in-Law, Della Wardsworth; Brother, Stanford Williams; two sisters-in-law Mertice and Maggie Dawson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Daughter Cheryl Dawson-Williams, Midland, PA; Daughter-in-Law Carrollton Dawson, Aliquippa, PA; Grandchildren, Theodore Vaughn, Midland, PA; Phillip (Monique) Dawson; Middlebury, CT; Ramona Bell, Rochester, PA; Morris (Joanne) Vaughn, Beaver Falls, PA; Gloria Dawson, Moon Township, PA; Rance Vaughn, Midland, PA; Merita Blocker, Midland, PA; Edward (Pamela) Dawson, McKees Rocks, PA; Courtney(Kenneth) Rainey, Aliquippa, PA; and Kristen Dawson, Midland, PA.  Devoted family and friends include Anthony Whitted, Rochester, PA; Nichole Fluker, Midland, PA; Gertrude Dawson, Midland, PA; Lillian Galbreath, Rochester, PA, Rev. Harding Dunlop, Jamaica, NY; Gloria Perkins, Mother Lottie Green, Mother Ruby Golding, Midland, PA; Janie Burns, Huntingtown, MD; Carolyn Browder, Aliquippa, PA; Ronnie Jackson, Rochester, PA; Ivee Roach and Marce Barnes, Midland, PA.  Left to also cherish her memory are her loving extended family, Dr. Stanley (Susan) Fisher, Land, Clay, and Sierra Fisher of Rosyln, NY and Judith Fisher, Columbus, OH, as well as a host of great and great-great grandchildren, cousins, and friends.

Friends are welcome to visit with the family on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The Homegoing Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Both services will be held at the Holiness Church of Christ Deliverance Center, 6349 Tuscawaras Road, Industry, PA.
