Marilyn Robinson – Stanback, 72, of Erie, PA, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. Marilyn was born on August 23, 1948 in Quitman, Mississippi to the late Frank and Artie Cooks – Robinson.

Marilyn was a member of the Second Baptist church and enjoyed the worship experience.

She loved being a mother to her beautiful children and spending time with her lovely family. She was the life of the party and enjoyed dancing, cooking, and fishing. Marilyn was an avid Steelers fan.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters – May Frances, Gladys and Patsy Robinson; two sons – Lynnwood Robinson and Bobby Stanback; two grandchildren – Shailta Keys and Mary Ann Hall

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter – Flora Candy Stanback; three sons – Richard Robinson, Arthur and Benjamin Stanback; one sister – Louise Robinson; three brothers – Curtis, Arthur and Frank Jr., Robinson; her grandson that she help raise Quayshawn Stanback; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the family at Second Baptist Church, 757 E. 26 ^th Street, on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10 am – 12 pm, where a home going celebration will immediately follow, with Rev. LaMont Higginbottom eulogizing. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, Erie, PA 16504. ALL CDC GUDIELINES WILL BE FOLLOWED AND EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK.
