Reflections of Her Life....

Mary Louise McCoy, 100 years young of
Aliquippa, PA peacefully transitioned from her
earthly home to her heavenly mansion on
June 21, 2021, surrounded by her devoted children.
She was born on June 12, 1921 to the late Edgar
and Annie Nash and was a lifelong resident ofAliquippa, PA.

Louise loved cooking and baking– a real "Top
Chef" of the kitchen! She made sure her family and
her home were well cared for. Louise was also an
avid swimmer, a die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh
Steelers and the Aliquippa Quips Football team,especial player No. 51!

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death
by her husband, Jethro McCoy Sr.;
sisters: Dorothy Coleman and Margaret Priest;
brothers: Bill Nash and James Nash.
She leaves to cherish her memories:
son, Jethro McCoy Jr.; daughters: Marilyn Cobb
(Marlin), Pittsburgh, PA; and Amanda Stokes,
Aliquippa, PA; brother, Bobby Nash, Aliquippa, PA;
grandchildren: Dr. Sylvester "Trey" Carlo (Margo),
Atlanta, GA; Tawon Turner (Edward), Bowie MD;
Idris "Macco" Carlo (Laila), Ayanna McCoy and
Wanda Jackson, all of Pittsburgh, PA; nine great
-
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, friends; three special friends: Louise West,
Lessie Guerriri and Essie Anderson.
The family wishes to give special thanks to her
nurses, Clara and Jo Ellen of Gateway Hospice.
