Maudie Louise Warbington Ford, 69, of Erie PA, passed away on Saturday July 20, 2024.   She was born November 25, 1954 in Laurel MS to the late Hiram Warbington and Thelma Turner.

She worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for 10 years prior to retiring in April of 2024.   She was formerly a member of the board for St. Mary's Home of Erie as well as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.   She served in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant in February 1979.   Following her service in the military she graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Communications.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles Hearn and Douglas Hearn.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Kama Ford, her sister Janet Warbington Williams, and nephew Jared Williams.

Celebration of Life will be held at Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, Erie PA 16504 on Monday July 29 at 1:00 pm.
