Nitra Roxanne Gales – Jordan passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021. She was born on June 28, 1981 in Erie, PA to Christine Mims and John Gales, Jr. aka Cleveland John.

Nitra has been employed with Bayada home health aide from eight years, her passion was helping and assisting others. Nitra loved playing spades and bingo. Nitra loved singing and dancing. She loved cooking and doing hair, she was an all-around loving person who loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Carrie Mims and Horace Mims, paternal grandparents Pauline Dunbar – Gales and John T Gales, Sr.; three aunts – Barbara Mims – Elman, Cynthia Mims and Mary Ann Mims and uncle James Mims.

She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother Christine Mims, father John T. Gales, Jr.; her loving and devoted husband Daishonn Jordan, Sr.; three daughter – Dae'Janii, Da'Jaia and Da'Mya Jordan' two sons – Marsavion Jones and Daishonn Jordan, Jr.; god daughter – Arianna Raiford; brother Elliot Gales; four sisters – Lachanda Gales – Sanders (JC), Yolonda Gales, Jonisha Gales, Chinica Gales, sister/cousin – Margaret Blue (Sianda), Dayvia Allen; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, who she loved so much.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 10 am – 12 pm, at the Second Baptist Church, 757 E. 26 ^th Street, where a celebration of life will follow with Rev. LaMont Higginbottom, eulogizing. Interment will be at Erie Memorial Gardens. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, Erie, PA 16504.
