With profound love and deep reverence, we celebrate the life of Percy Jerome Kenney Sr., lovingly known as "PJ" and "Big Cuz" to family and friends. He was a remarkable man whose presence had a lasting impact on all who knew him. Percy was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on May 20, 1972 and raised on the Northside by Percy Williams III and Donna Marie Kenney. On February 8, 2026, at the age of 53, he peacefully transitioned from this life, reuniting in eternal rest with his father, Percy Williams III, his grandfathers Percy Williams Jr. and George F. Allen Jr., his grandmothers Dorothy Jane Allen and Lucile Williams, and his beloved grandchild, Dhani Jenkins.

Percy leaves behind a beautiful legacy in his children to whom he was devoted: Dajsua Nae Streater, Persia Marie Kenney, Mariah Ajshan Kenney, Percy Jerome Kenney Jr., and a nephew he raised as his own, Jermaine Wallace, who carries forth his strength and pride. He is also survived by his loving mother, Donna Marie Kenney; his siblings, Carmella Williams, Terrell Percy Williams, and Lonnie Adams; and his cherished grandchildren, Dahlia Jenkins, Immanuel Faulk, Omari Faulk, and Nomi Faulk. His family was his greatest accomplishment, and he bore the responsibility of fatherhood, sonship, brotherhood, and friendship with honor and steadfast devotion.

Percy's life was a testament to ambition, ingenuity, and determination. Armed with an associate's degree and an entrepreneurial spirit that could not be confined, he built a legacy through numerous ventures, including real estate, a cleaning company, an auto shop, a nightclub, and more. His resourcefulness was unmatched; he possessed an extraordinary ability to cultivate and maintain meaningful connections. Percy did not simply conduct business; he built relationships, trust, and opportunity wherever he went.

Percy had a passion for competition and camaraderie. Whether at the pool table, on the handball court, or gathered around a game of dice, craps, chess, or dominoes, he thrived in moments that brought people together. His love for classic arcade games, especially Pac-Man, reflected his playful spirit and timeless charm. He appreciated craftsmanship, mastering pottery and later channeling his creativity into beading and jewelry-making. Percy had an eye for style and a deep admiration for souped-up, old-school cars, embracing the finer details that made life vibrant and expressive.

A loyal viewer of Days of Our Lives, Percy found delight in storytelling both on-screen and in everyday life. He had a curious palate and an adventurous heart, always ready to travel, discover new flavors, embrace good music, and experience the richness of the world around him. He lived by a simple yet powerful philosophy: look good, eat good, feel good, and live good.

What truly distinguished Percy was not merely what he accomplished, but how he carried himself. He was a man of dignity, respect, resilience, and quiet strength. His kindness and compassion were constants. His laughter was infectious, his smile radiant, and his presence steady. In his final days, surrounded by love, he demonstrated the same grace and unity he fostered throughout his life, always bringing people together, always holding space for connection.
