Richard Dionell Willis, II, passed away at his home on Friday,
November 3, 2023, in Erie, PA. He was born in Alameda, California
the son of Josephine Aretha Odom (Stockton, California) and
Richard Dionell Willis, Jr. on July 21, 1983.
Richard moved to Erie in 1996 to live with his Erie family. He
attended Erie Public Schools receiving the President' Education
Award in recognition of Outstanding Educational Improvement in
pursuit of academic excellence in 1996 while attending Edison
School. He attended Strong Vincent High School and graduated
from Glenn Mills in 2002. He enjoyed playing sports, including
wrestling and football. He received his Core Certification and
Certification in Electrical Work. He was employed by several local
foundries with the last being Urick Foundry.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmother,
Dorothy Harris, paternal grandmother, Hattie Mae Scott. In
addition to his parents he is survived by, his daughters, Caitlin
Warnshuis, Michigan and Golden Rose Willis, Erie. His sisters,
Cherish Wilson, GA; Chariot Wilson, GA; and a Paternal Aunt,
LaShana Willis, Texas, Maternal Uncles Ronnie (LaRhonda)
Haywood, CA, , Theophilus (Theo/Ted) and LaShana Harris, Jr. his
maternal great aunt, Candace Battles, his maternal great-great
uncle, Willie Harris and His maternal Grandparents,
Theophilus (Theo/Ted) Harris, CA. and Voncile Harris, GA.
Richard leaves behind many cousins and friends to share his
memory including Yolanda Dixon and Olivia Nixon.
