Robert Earl Alston

Robert Earl Alston, 76, of Center Twp., beloved husband and father, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 6, 2021. He was born February 12, 1945 in Aliquippa, to the late Robert R. and the late Lessie W. (Dark) Alston. He graduated from Aliquippa High School, class of 1963.

"Robert Earl" was a die-hard Steeler fan who was loved by all who knew him. He successfully retired after careers with both J&L Steel and US Airways. He also worked for Air Ground Xpress. Throughout his life, Robert loved watching old westerns, bowling in leagues and tournaments, playing bid whist, and traveling to keep up with family and old friends.

In addition to Brenda, his wife of over 51 years, he will be lovingly missed by his two daughters, Dana Alston, of Houston, TX, and Tonya (Sidney) Jones of Auburn Hills, MI; his son, Dorian (Heather) Josey, of Aliquippa, PA; grandchildren, Yasmine, Janea, Caleb, Zoe, and Raina; brother, James Alston; sisters, Addie Moon and Ora Alston, as well as his extended family and caring friends. He was predeceased by his parents, 4 brothers, Isaac (Dion) Alston, Rufus (Ruby) Richardson, Carl Alston, and Benjamin Alston, and a sister, Nella Ree Henderson.
