Robert Leslie Johnson Erie, Pa. fail asleep in death on March 19th, 2023 of natural causes, at Hamot Hospital of Erie, PA.

Robert was born to the union of Vivian Leslie Johnson & Mary {Mills} Johnson, On March 6, 1935 in Greenburg, KY. He worked for Inland Steel of Chicago Il. Robert had many nicknames Bobby, Rob, OG Bobby Johnson his Grandchildren affectionally gave him after a popular song.

Robert loved singing, traveling, westerns, history and politics

Being an historian his last excursion was a lifetime dream to go to Montana and see the battle of Little Bighorn / Custard what adventure it was.

He was a great listener, friend and confidant.

Preceded him in death wife Mary Allen, son's Christopher Allen, Roosevelt Johnson, Gregory Thomas, Brother Lee Johnson, sister's Ann Hall, Mary Wade, and Rose Bell.

He leaves to cherish his legacy his loving wife Doris {Carter} Johnson Erie, PA; brother Ronnie Johnson; brother in law  Vernon  Wade; Children: Jeffery (Ora) Grey of Benton Harbor, MI, James (Barbra) Allen of Erie, PA, Robert (Brenda) Johnson of Erie, PA, Tyrone Allen of Erie, PA, Rodney Johnson of MI. Michael Allen of Erie, PA, Craig Johnson of Erie PA, and Alphonso Allen of OH; daughter's Vita Husband Eric Young of Atlanta GA, Scertia Lee of Grand Rapides, MI,  Aldonia Atkins of Benton Harbor, MI, and Tedra Johnson of Grand Rapides, MI; 128 Grandchildren; 103 Great Grandchildren, and 74 Great-Great Grandchildren he will truly  be missed by all
