Obituary

Robert Williams, Jr., 71, made a peaceful transition from this life into eternity on May 5, 2025.

Born on March 15, 1954 in Aliquippa, PA to the late  Robert Williams, Sr. and Louise Williams. He was a graduate of Aliquippa Senior High School class of 1973. Robert was affectionally known as "Buddy" to his family, "Peanut" to his friends and was given the name "Smiley" from his New Castle community.

Buddy was known for his smile and infectious laugh. He loved playing pool and eating while enjoying conversation and the company of his friends at the Mission in New Castle, PA where he resided.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Freddie Williams and sister, Brenda L. Moore.

He leaves to cherish his memory four loving sisters: Kimberly L. Williams, Durham, NC; Sherri D. Lay, Franklinton, NC; Theresa F. Williams, Beaver Falls, PA; Connie G. Psomas, Aliquippa, PA and a host of family and friends.

Friends and family will be received at the home of his sister, Connie Psomas, on Friday, May 16th from 5-9 p.m.

A celebration of life service will be held at:

Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church

505 Washington Street

Aliquippa, PA 15001.

A Viewing will be held from 12-1 with service immediately following at 1:00 p.m.
