Russell "Rutt" Lee Worthy III, 38, of Aliquippa transitioned to be with his heavenly Father on
Oct. 31st, 2021.
He was born January 15th, 1983 at Sewickley Hospital to Russell Lee Worthy Jr. and Cynthia
(West) Allen.
Russell was truly a creative and gifted young man. His passion for WWE, comics (Marvel, DC,
and Star Wars) brought out both the digital as well as pencil to paper for his drawings. He never
settled until what he wanted was perfect and it showed through his amazing and unforgettable
smile. His greatest joy came when he was able to take his family across country and attend San
Diego's International Comic Con for two years in a row to experience his love for the arts and
entertainment in real time.
Russell loved traveling, music, church, experiencing new things (food and culture) and spending
time with his friends and family.
Russell truly was and still is God's man. Wise beyond his years. A real life Angel that walked
this earth for 38 years. He never moved with the crowd. He created his own path. A path of
serving, loving, encouraging, caring, giving, praying, fasting, protecting, and fighting for what he
believed in. He never let his anger and frustrations show. He moved quietly and peacefully and
only shared what needed to be shared and did it all with a smile. He was a man of few words
which touched the lives of so many. A true Family man, Husband and Father.
Russell is survived by his wife of 8 years LaToya, his beautiful daughter Nilah; brothers Dion
(Adjalon) West of FL, Tiran (Jamie)West of Beaver County, and Christopher of TX; Stepfather
Art Allen of TX and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Russell is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Russell and Gussy L. Worthy Sr., Aunt
Michelle Worthy and Lorraine Roberts, Uncle Lamar, maternal grandmother Evelyn West, and maternal grandfather Clarence West.  In lieu of flowers, a savings account has been set up in Nilah's name for college.   You can use the payment system used by most banks Zelle to the number 412-627-0359
