Ruth Arrington, 89, passed away on October 15, 2021 at UPMC Hamot. She was born on May 10, 1932 in Shabuta, MS, to the late Homer and Vanie House – Hollingsworth, Sr.

Ruth was a former member of First Good Samaritan AME Zion Church.

She retired from Erie Insurance.

Ruth enjoyed fishing, going to the casino and spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory, three sisters – Avery Hales of Mobile, AL, Mary Brown (Albert) of Erie, PA and Pinkey Earl Hayes (Charlie) of Shabuta, MS, a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may visit with the family at Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, on Friday, October 22, 2021 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, with a home going celebration immediately follow, with Bishop Gary Brown eulogizing.
