Ruth Tolbert. 85, of Erie, PA passed away on Monday. April 04, 2022. She was born on May 23, 1936 in Collins, GA to the late Herman and Lucy Collins – Tolbert.

Ruth was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Ruth enjoyed dancing, baseball, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Herman Tolbert, Jr. and Willard Thomas; two sisters Elizabeth Hammon and Alice Tolbert – Fleming.

She leaves to cherish her memory a brother Robert Tolbert (Jane) and a host nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit with the family at Shiloh Baptist Church, 901 E. 5 ^th Street, on Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 10 am to 12 pm, where a home going celebration will immediately follow, with Rev. Anthony Harris eulogizing. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, Erie, PA 16504.
