**Obituary for Sharon Denise Ellis**

Sharon Denise Ellis, 57, blessed the earth with her presence on January 9, 1968, and left us with beautiful memories on March 1, 2025, unexpectedly while at home. Sharon's life was a radiant tapestry of dedication, love, and boundless joy. A proud graduate of Aliquippa High School class 86, she later attended the University of Phoenix, where she earned her master's degree in Health Administration—all while working full time and inspiring her children to believe that anything is achievable with hard work and determination. Employed at PNC Bank, she brought her infectious personality to every interaction, uplifting everyone with her genuine care and warm spirit.

Sharon is preceded in death by her loving parents, Frank Hall and Sylvia Rae Ellis; her sisters, Patricia Ann King and Katherine Ellis; her aunts, Dorothy King, Janie Lee King-Cobb, and Elvira Lawson; her niece, Katoya Ellis; her cousin, James Hall.

She is survived by her loving, devoted children: her sons, Jaque Ellis of Norfolk, VA and Damar Ellis (wife Carolyn) of Durham, NC; her daughters, Aniya Ellis of Norfolk, VA and Paris Ellis of Aliquippa, PA; and her bonus son, Micaiah Massie of Pittsburgh, PA. Her cherished grandchildren include Sianna Ellis, lovingly known as her sisi of Virginia Beach, VA, and Damar Ellis Jr, affectionately called her DJ of Durham, NC. In addition, she is survived by her sisters, Betty Ann Gotell of New Brighton, Theresa Jones of Aliquippa, Phyllis Hall of VA, and Rena West of Atlanta; her brothers, Hermon Ellis, Lionel Ellis, Richard Ellis (wife Tiff any), and Bernard Parham, all of Aliquippa, and Johnny Frank Hall of VA; and her dear special friends including Sonya Jeter, Samantha Gipson, Suzanne Moye, Tony Stevenson, Jackie Brown, Lisa Tabb, Karima Howard (aka Darla), Tonia Cary, Holly Jarrett Wildy, the entire Class of 86, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus children, and friends who were like family to her.

Sharon was a loving, kind, and caring soul—a beacon of warmth as a mother, sister, auntie, cousin, and friend. She was the life of every gathering, lighting up any room with her laughter and effortless humor. With her empath nature and a heart that welcomed everyone, she treated all who knew her like family, always sharing her wisdom, joy, and unwavering support. Her home, adorned with affirmations and expressions of self-love, was a sanctuary that reflected her constant journey of growth and her belief in celebrating every moment. She was not only her own biggest fan, but also her children's. Her divine love will be with us all for eternity.

A woman of passion, Sharon delighted in every occasion spent with loved ones. Whether it was a high-spirited game night filled with endless laughter and good with her family or a quiet moment relaxing at home basking in her own energy, she embraced life with a contagious enthusiasm. She loved dancing and singing with her babies and her karaoke, taking the lead on any song she sang. Her love for sharing knowledge through her beloved TikTok captured her vibrant spirit, and her commitment to personal growth—often through inspiring audiobooks—was a testament to her inner strength. Above all, nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren, for whom she would move mountains for.

Sharon's legacy is one of deep family values, respect, and an unyielding belief in the power of love. She instilled in her children and everyone she touched the importance of unity, self-belief, and the joy of shared laughter. To know Sharon was to love her and experience the embrace of her unique motherly love—a love that extended far beyond her immediate family to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She had a lot of people who looked at her as a second mom and she considered them all her babies. We are forever grateful for the laughter, wisdom, and light she brought into our lives. Sharon Denise Ellis was a beautiful soul who will truly be missed we express deep gratitude for all of the knowledge she bestowed upon us and we know she forever lives on within all of us. May her soul rest in divine peace and she continues to evolve in her soul journey. Her infinite energy shall continue to inspire and uplift us all.
