Shawn Pope, 64, of Aliquippa, PA, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023. He was born on December 25, 1958, in Aliquippa Pa to the late Charles Pope and Alberta Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Michelle Cooper.

Shawn was a man whose heart was full and would help anyone within his numerous skills and abilities. Shawn enjoyed watching sports and was an enthusiastic fan of all Aliquippa athletics.

He leaves to cherish his memory, 2 sons, Shawn (Alichia) Thomas, and Rory Thomas; 3 grandchildren Josiah, Sarai, and Koa Thomas. 3 sisters Lanette Pope, Della Campbell, and Reva Dent; 2 brothers Charles Pope (Bo), and Tony Pope; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and a devoted friend in Elsie Williams.

Friends may visit with the family at Pitts Funeral Home, 920 Franklin Ave, on Saturday, May 13th from 10am to 12pm viewing with a memorial service immediately after. Professional services are entrusted to Pitts Funeral Home.
