Sheila "Renee" Cooper-Lindsey,age 69, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, while being comforted by her baby sister.

Sheila was born on July 3, 1956, at Rochester General Hospital to the late Willie Clarence Cooper, Sr., and Emma Cooper-Hall (James).

Sheila was a graduate of Aliquippa High School, Class of 1975. She dedicated her life to being a full-time homemaker and provider for her family. She worked at both Phoenix Glass Co. and Verland Homes.

Sheila was united in marriage to Anthony Lindsey of Aliquippa, who she leaves to mourn her passing. She also leaves four children and three step-children.

Sheila was a loving and dedicated mother to Mario (Charolette) Parham, Shalounda Parham, Shamaria Parham, all of Monaca, PA, and Mandela Parham of Pittsburgh, PA. She also cherished her stepchildren, Elisha Lindsey, Kandice Lindsey, and Javad Lindsey.

She was a proud grandmother to Mariona, Machai, Malachai, Marcus Jr., Jayde, Mercedes, Mar'ria, Chamaur, Cherysh, Mario II, and Quasha. She leaves a devoted godson, Albee, and two espoused nephews: Marcus Parham & Chuckie Pratt. She is also survived by five grandchildren through marriage.

Sheila leaves to cherish her memory one Aunt, Louise West; five siblings: Zapharan Cashaw and Perretta Cooper of Hartford, CT; Willie Cooper Jr. (Patti) of Red Lion, PA; Abdul (Deirdra) Mubdi of Decatur, GA; Verlenee (Antoine) Horton of Monaca, PA; and siblings-in-love Mary Norman, Richard Lindsey, Beatrice Perry, & Jeffrey Lindsey, all of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law Leroy and Kelvin Lindsey.

Sheila was known for her strength, love, and unwavering devotion to those she cared for. She had a host of nieces, nephews, close cousins, and friends.

Sheila was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, cheering her team on with pride!

She was preceded in death by her Aunts: Rosie Davis & Mary Alice West; nephews, Langston and Dahve'A; cousins Mavis Ann, Eddie Jr., Edwina, and Carell Jr., and devoted friends: Lynita, Jerome, Kellee, Stephanie, Tara, Marie, Paula, and Arvella.

The Wake:  will be held on January 8, 2026, and from 5:00–7:00 PM, the public will be lovingly received.

The Funeral: services will take place on January 9, 2026, 12 o'clock noon at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, where Shelia was a longtime member. Internment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Aliquippa, PA, followed by repass and benediction.
