Stephen Finney, Sr.

September 26, 1954 – June 16, 2021

Stephen Finney, Sr., 66 of Ambridge, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 16 2021 at Heritage Valley Health System
Sewickley.

He was born on September 26, 1954 in Aliquippa, PA.  Stephen was the son of the late Stanford Finney and Johnnie Mae Lankford.

"SILK", as he was affectionately called,  graduated from Aliquippa Area High School in 1973 and later enlisted in the United State Air Force from 1974 through 1976.

He decided to further his education and earned a degree in Automotive & Diesel as well as making the Dean's list with high honors.

He met and married the love of his life, Elaine Finney in 1979.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Conkeia Lynn Finney; two brothers, Stan Finney
and Harold Finney; a sister, Brenda Finney, and three devoted friends, Jerry Lay, Brent Weekly, Earl Tucker, and
Bill Anderson.

He is survived by his loving five children, daughters; Vena Finney of Ambridge, Tanjaneia Vinson of Aliquippa, Stephanie Taylor
of Wilkinsburg, two sons; Stephen Finney, Jr. of Homestead and Andre Pope of Aliquippa; nineteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren as well as a host of relatives and friends.
