Tameca Shanell Torain, 53, died suddenly, Monday, July 6, 2026 at AHN St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, PA. She was born January 7, 1973 to Greg Adams and Joann Torain. She was a lifelong resident of Erie and attended Strong Vincent High School.

She accepted Christ into her life and loved each opportunity she got to attend services. She was generous in spirit and in deed. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and watching reality tv.

She was preceded in death by her mother Joann and her Stepfather, James "Bonzel" Stepp, her maternal grandparents, Eddie Sr. and Geneva Torain-Moyer as well as her paternal grandparents, CD and Dorothy Adams. Also waiting to welcome her home are her mother's twin sister Patty Ann and two special aunts, Doris and Betty Ruth Torain.

Tameca leaves to mourn her loss and cherish her memory, her father, Greg Adams of Harrisburg, PA, her sister, Tynina Adams Lucas (Alimayu) of Pittsburgh, five step-siblings, Shawna, James, Kareem, Rasheemah Thompson, and Robert Lofton all of Erie. Her uncle, Eddie "EJ" and cousins Ericka and Jerred Torain, her dear friends, Lois Page and Randy Williams will also be missing her warmth and laughter as well as a host of cousins and friends.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. A memorial service to honor her life will be held August 15, 2026 at 11:00 am at Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave., Erie, PA 16504.
