Taurean Lee Knight, 34, of Erie, Pa, passed on to his heavenly rewards on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He was born in Erie, PA on July 4, 1987 to Esker (Big Man) Smith and Theresa Knight Smith.

Taurean graduated from Central High School class of 2006, he went on to receive a degree in graphic design from Fortis Institution in 2016.

Taurean had a love for electronics and collected the latest IPads and IPhones. He had just started a huge collection of Funko Pops.

He was employed by Presque Isle Downs Casino in the shipping and receiving department and by Harborcreek Walmart. Taurean was a hard worker and was loved by all, but especially by his nephew and nieces who will miss him greatly.

Taurean was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Willie and Vinnie (Edwards) Smith; maternal grandparents Nathaniel and Bitha (Dean) Knight; brother Shawn Knight; two sisters Teri Ann Smith and Trina (Moffatt) Pope.

Besides his parents he leaves to cherish his memories a brother – Julius Knight; two sisters – Taleah Knight and Tanesha Knight – Jordan; a nephew Kayden Jordan, nieces – Saadiya Knight of Murfreesboro, TN, Karma Jordan, KarLee Jordan and Reign Knight; special cousins Dennis Mitchell and Allante Massey; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Friends may visit with the family at Pitts Funeral Home, 2926 Pine Ave, on Sunday, November 7, 2021, from 6 pm – 8 pm. A home going celebration with be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 11 am with Rev. Madonna Gray eulogizing. Interment will be at Erie Cemetery.
