Terry Vaughn Brown, formerly of Aliquippa, PA, went home to be with the Lord on May 16, 2022, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was preceded in death by his mother Rosalie Brown-Smith and stepfather Henry Smith.

Born January 19, 1952, in Aliquippa, Terry was the beloved and only son of Rosalie Brown-Smith and stepson of Henry Smith. Terry was a graduate of Aliquippa High School (1969) and The Howard University where he earned a degree in Accounting. He also attended the University of Pittsburgh where he earned a Masters degree  in Accounting.

Upon graduation, Terry was employed at Dravo Corporation based on Neville Island, followed by a position in the Auditing Department at Westinghouse Electric Company in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He then spent time in New York City working for Westinghouse Broadcasting and Cable where he managed accounting and auditing operations. He went on to work for General Electric Corporation and finished his career as an Accountant for NACE Corporation.

Terry will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who took great pride in his family and community. Terry attended Sunday School at Greater Emmanuel AME Zion Church  in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania until he graduated high school. He attended North Stelton AME Church in Piscataway, New Jersey with his wife, Evangelist Marcella Brown.

Terry is survived by loving wife Marcella Brown of Metuchen, New Jersey, daughter Tyra (Vance) Walker of Aliquippa, PA and son/grandson Jonathan Brown; grandson Corey Curenton of Aliquippa, PA, granddaughter India (DeJuan) Savage of North Carolina, and great-granddaughter Mariah Brown of Aliquippa, PA; sister-in-law Cindy Riggins of Aliquippa, PA, brother-in-law, Ron Benson of Aliquippa, PA; dear Aunt Ann Mae Brown of Aliquippa, PA, dear cousins Angelica Brown of Providence, RI, Tinita Field of Aliquippa, PA, Kevin (Michelle) Brown of Philadelphia, PA, and Vernon (Waqueta) Brown of Decatur, GA; dear friends Ross Stewart of Ohio, Willie Simmons, James Dean, and Ronnie Shegog all of Aliquippa, PA, and Diane Edmonds and Jerry Nichols both of Metuchen, NJ,  and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, former colleagues, and dear friends locally and across the country.

His family also wishes to thank clergy and prayer groups from across the country for their prayers and support during this difficult time
