Terry Lee Foster, Sr

Terry L. Foster Sr., 69, of Rochester, Pennsylvania, unexpectedly passed away peacefully surrounded by the comforts of home, with his wife, Barbara, and their faithful dog, Bentley, near his side.

Born on November 2, 1956, Terry was the son of Roosevelt Foster Jr. and the late Maggie Foster. He was raised in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, known to his friends as Magaroski. He graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1976. Following high school, Terry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army.

Terry was a Chemical Operator with Valspar Corporation (Sherwin Williams) for 40 years, retiring in 2020. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He shared 48 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Barbara Foster, building a beautiful life and family together.

Terry was a man of few words, but when he spoke, you listened. He was known for his quiet nature, his strong opinions that he was more than willing to argue, his sense of humor, and his ability to make his point and then ask, “Am I right?” He was a Pittsburgh Steelers season ticket holder and avid fan, loved his dog Bentley, shooting pool, traveling, anything competitive, old school music, and never passed up an opportunity to talk a little trash with the people he loved.

Terry's quiet presence, humor, strong opinions, and love for his family will be deeply missed. His memory will live on through the stories shared by those who knew him, the lessons he left behind, and the family he loved.

Terry is survived by his father, Roosevelt Foster Jr.; his beloved wife of 48 years, Barbara Foster; his children, Terry L. Foster Jr., Alana Reed and her husband, Marquis, and Brittany Foster and her fiancé, Joe Mazzocco; and his grandson, Tee Foster-Harris. He is also survived by his sister, Rosemary George; his nieces and nephews; his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; his special cousins; and many other loved ones and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Maggie Foster; his brother, Herman Foster; his grandmother, Zelma Rodgers; and his father- and mother-in-law, William and Betty Little.

Family and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Deliverance Temple Ministries Church of God in Christ (2400 Hospital Dr. Aliquippa PA 15001), where a home going celebration will immediately follow. A repast will be held at the Rochester VFW (179 Virginia Ave, Rochester PA, 15074) at 3:00 PM.
