William Douglas Lee (better known as Doug) 62, of Aliquippa, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 12, 2024. He was born on December 15, 1961, in Blakely, Georgia, to the late William Henry and Mabel Lee.

A proud graduate of Aliquippa High School, William dedicated his life to his family. After living In Houston, Texas, for over 20 years, he recently moved back to Aliquippa to be closer to family. William enjoyed a successful career as a truck driver for Start Trucking Inc, which allowed him to travel the country and form lasting friendships along the way. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, known for his big smile and loud laugh, bringing joy to everyone around him. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan and loved cheering for his team on game days.  William always dressed well and took great pride in his appearance. He will forever be known for his unwavering spirit, keeping his vehicles clean, reflecting his attention to detail and love for the finer things in life.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Lee, his mother Mabel Lee, his brother; Terry Lee and his nephew; Matthew Dillard III and a dear friend Mia Johnson.

William is survived by his wife, Penelope Lee; his seven children, Jontae (Subrenia) Ferguson,Saint Petersburg, Florida; Keona Parham, Atlanta, Georgia; Ryan Lee, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Cherrelle Lee, Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; Chazmeanne (Chazzy) Lee, Columbus, Ohio; JayQuon Lee and Jaylen Lee, both of Houston, Texas and his cherished grandchildren, Nautica Lee, Ry'Auna Lee, Chaire Lee, Wynter Lee, Jaiceon Williams, Cha'VeAnne McGee, Cha'Zelle McGee, Savior Lee, and Cartier Turner. He also leaves behind his siblings, Lisa Lee Dillard, Carol Lee (Lawrence Reddick) and Adrienne Williams, all of Aliquippa, Pa. Four nephews; Shawn Price, Matthew (Matt) Dillard Jr, Da'Vontae William, and Lawrence Reddick Jr; Three Nieces; Kayla Freeman, Arnysa Williams, and Serenity; Close friend Richard Cureton, and a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss him.

William's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
