William R. Ward passed on June 16, 2019 at the age of 79.  He was born on May 22, 1940 to the late Thomas E. and Mildred L. (Payton) Ward.  William was a graduate of Rochester Area High School in 1958.  He was a 12 year Veteran of the US Army.  After obtaining his degree in Electronic Technology, William worked for many years and retired from Honeywell in California as an Aircraft Electrical Engineer.

In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his sisters; June Ward and Hannah Collins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Marcella Ward and a brother, Thomas Ward in addition to his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
