With grateful hearts and cherished memories, our family celebrates the root of our family tree; the life of Willie Clyde Jordan, a young 88-year-old who embraced each day with energy, humor,and love. His life was a testament to joy, resilience, and unforgettable moments where he touched every soul he encountered.

Affectionately known as Chicken, PapPap, and WC; Willie was born on October 9,1937 in Preston Georgia. He was the eldest son of the late Gussie Pearl and Willie Clyde Jordan. His siblings Grady, James, Willie Felton and Ruby Jean all whom preceded him in their earthly journey admired him, especially after he relocated to Pennsylvania at the tender age of 15. His aunt Jessie Mae Myers and uncle Wilie Mack Tyson continued to raise him as a brother to both Chanzelle "Tootsie" Tyson and Dolly Griffin who were near and dear to his heart.

Willie was employed at J&L Steel for 18 years and eventually retired from ISS Facility Services at the Pittsburgh International Airport. In his retirement, you would find him playing the lottery, hanging out at the barbershop giving out inspirational wisdom whether solicited or unsolicited, and cheering on his beloved Aliquippa Quips and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was an avid all around sports fan and made sure you knew how he felt about you and different situations. He always attributed his long life to believing and trusting in the Lord. He was surrounded by his family when the Lord called him home on November 24, 2025. Although he will be greatly missed in the Aliquippa community and surrounding areas, he leaves behind a beautiful legacy built on family, laughter, and a youthful spirit that will never fade. He is truly what Aliquippa legends are made of.

Mr Jordan was preceded in death by his grandsons Gevod Tyson and Jalen Love as well as a great grandson baby Jayceon Lindsay.

He leaves to cherish his memories; his devoted companion,  Bernice Wright of Aliquippa PA. Sons Kelvin (Angela) Jordan of Preston GA; Carliss Jeter (Laurie Odum) of Beaver Falls PA; Willie "Squirrel" Jordan of Pittsburgh PA; Stephen Peebles of NH; Brian Barbee of Beaver Falls PA; Gerode Carry of Aliquippa PA and daughters Frances Wright of Aliquippa PA and Evonne (George) Tucker of Charlotte NC and daughter, Lisa Lay of Aliquippa, Close Friends; Jacqueline Jeter, William "Gene" Iverson Jr; Byron "Peanut" Savage, John "Jim Dandy" Lowe, Tyshon Tyson, Daisy Smith and Charlie Powell. He has 27 grandchildren, along with a large host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly, however heaven is rejoicing at the reunion with best friends Curtis "Curly" Swain and Albert "Snook" Curenton.
