Yolanda L. Jenkins

Yolanda L. Jenkins, 70 of Aliquippa transitioned to be with her Lord and savior on May 1, 2023, at Heritage Valley Hospital Beaver.

Born February 7, 1953. Yolanda was the daughter of the late John and Daisy Jenkins.
A native of Aliquippa, Yolanda graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. She obtained her paralegal certificate and a drug and alcohol counseling certificate from Robert Morris University. Yolanda worked for many years with Bell Telephone, Westinghouse Electric Company's legal department, and later at Gateway Rehabilitation Center and the Innovative Recovery Center, as a drug and alcohol counselor.

Yolanda accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1976 and served with the Missionaries and the Evangelistic Outreach Ministry of the Church In the Round, Aliquippa, PA, where Bishop Melvin E. Clark was her Pastor.

Yolanda loved reading her bible, studying scriptures and relished her time with her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers John Jenkins, Julius Jenkins and a sister Yvonne Ware.

Yolanda is survived by her brother Bertram Jenkins (Joyce), a Sister-in-law Evelyn Jenkins, her sisters Priscilla Crosby (Carl), Linda Birt, Arlene Bell and numerous nieces and nephews.
